Digital Asset Specialist

As a
Digital Asset Specialist , you'll play a key role in supporting the production and creative efforts of our project - maintaining digital content pipelines, organizing and tracking assets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and communication across teams and projects.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of production and creativity, and who is excited to contribute to a variety of innovative games that celebrate the magic of Disney. You’ll work alongside top-tier talent in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your organizational skills, eye for detail, and exceptional communication abilities will help bring epic experiences to life.
What you will do:
Facilitate and maintain a comprehensive digital asset library of references and collections from across The Walt Disney Company.
Fulfill asset requests, assists users in obtaining access and locating desired assets in a timely manner.
Conduct QA and compatibility test using proprietary tools and software to ensure assets meet formatting standards.
E nter detailed metadata into asset database for accurate tracking and retrieval.
Communicate to various key stakeholders and partners across Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm when assets have been properly stored or accessed.
Collaborate with Operations, Production, Creative, and external partners to organize and deliver content, feedback, and information that supports project needs.
Support workflows and contribute to process optimization efforts, ensuring alignment with Disney’s standards of quality and authenticity.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
4 years of experience specifically in art asset pipeline management and/or production of Console/Mobile/PC games or other entertainment.
Understand game and film development workflows, digital art methodologies, and entertainment industry-standard tools, including programs such as Maya, Substance Painter, Houdini, and Unreal Engine.
Are proficient in 2D and 3D software environments and knowledgeable about asset file formats such as FBX, USD, and Ptex, including their benefits and common challenges.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and facilitate smooth, effective communication and collaboration.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $72,000 to $96,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
