Overview
Wolf Trap Foundation seeks a Coordinator, Social Media to research, create original content, and drive organizational awareness across an evolving online audience. The role supports the social media team by crafting compelling written content, monitoring channels, and elevating the Foundation’s online community.
Responsibilities
Craft timely, relevant copy for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms. Manage content calendar, optimize posts for each platform, and collaborate with graphic designers to align visuals. Monitor channels, engage patrons, analyze performance metrics, and create regular reports. Collaborate cross‑departmentally with Development, Special Events, Education, Production, and Marketing to promote Wolf Trap activities. Generate on‑site multimedia content during performances, assist with special event staffing, and support press office operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field. At least 2 years professional social media experience, cultivating online communities. Portfolio showcasing professional social media experience preferred. Strong writing, editing, research skills and ability to write effectively across styles and channels. Knowledge of major platforms and trends; basic multimedia skills, including Adobe Suite. Evening and weekend work required; sensitivity to mission of Wolf Trap Foundation.
