At Wegner Fine Cabinetry, we believe the kitchen is the heart of the home. Our showroom is a destination for inspiration and expert design guidance, helping clients create kitchens that are both functional and beautiful. We are seeking a Kitchen Designer to join our team and bring creativity, professionalism, and design expertise to every client interaction.
This role is fully in-person, Monday-Friday, in our beautiful Manhattan showroom.
Responsibilities
Conduct client consultations to understand their design goals and requirements.
Develop and maintain clear meeting notes and markups to lead design development with our Technical Designers.
Guide clients through material, finish, and appliance selections.
Maintain showroom displays to ensure a professional, inviting, and current presentation.
Review all deliverables at each project phase, including construction sets.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless execution from design to installation.
Requirements
A degree in interior design, architecture, or similar is required.
Previous professional experience in interior design is required.
Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or 2020 Design.
Proficiency in presentation software such as PowerPoint, Canva, and Photoshop.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Keen eye for design trends and attention to detail.
Previous experience in kitchen and bath design is preferred.
