This entry‑level, high‑impact role on our collaborative Marketing & Communications team will coordinate marketing activities across property teams, leadership, and third‑party providers to ensure flawless and timely execution of marketing plans. You’ll gain exposure to all facets of our marketing operations, from digital storefront optimization to campaign performance tracking and strategy execution—while championing our strong brand. Reporting directly to the VP of Revenue & Data Strategy and accountable to the SVP of Brand Communications and Sr. Director of Furnished Marketing, this position is based 100% on‑site at one of our residential locations in New Jersey or the Greater Philadelphia Area, with travel to other AVE locations nationwide approximately 10% of the time. Responsibilities
Property Marketing
Attend all property strategy marketing calls, take meeting notes, and distribute recaps with action items to stakeholders Submit marketing tickets for all meeting action items and audit tickets and deadlines on a recurring basis to track deliverables Maintain up‑to‑date marketing and sales plans for individual properties and regions Support marketing initiatives as needed—direct mail fulfillment, outreach, preferred employer, and referral initiatives Digital Marketing
Own execution of marketing campaign updates on digital storefronts—including marketing websites (aveliving.com), online directories such as Google Business Profile, and internet listing sites such as Apartments.com Drive furnished e‑commerce initiatives by tracking sales support tickets, creating rate codes, and updating content on the booking engine and distribution channels Project‑manage content updates to ILS platforms to ensure alignment with campaigns and marketing & sales plans Own implementation of neighborhood guides on property websites Project‑manage virtual leasing content with third‑party providers such as Box Brownie and Show My Property Own creation and integrity of UTMs to support accurate campaign performance tracking Act as backup to the Email Marketing & CRM Manager for email campaigns and to the Web Director for content implementation Be trained on the Marketing Portal and serve as backup to the Marketing Operations Manager for ticket assignment Other
Own and execute all responsibilities within brand standards Always represent the Brand Marketing & Communications team with professionalism Scope of responsibilities may change or expand as the portfolio grows Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field 2 years of marketing or communications experience, ideally in real estate, multifamily housing, or hospitality Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills Strong written and oral communicator capable of collaborating across the organization Natural problem solver and self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment Tech‑savvy and quick to learn digital systems Ability to integrate feedback positively Strong curiosity and creativity Effective project‑management, organization, and follow‑up skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration platforms (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams) Experience with email and data marketing platforms such as Zendesk CRM, Yardi/RentCafe CRM, Zoho CRM, Brevo, or BeePro is preferred but not required Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical skills; experience using reporting tools to track and optimize performance Compensation
Base salary: $50,000 – $55,000 per year (additional monthly/quarterly bonus potential) Perks
