Mid-Level Bankruptcy Associate – Creditor-Focused Practice | New York, NY We are an established full‑service law firm seeking a skilled Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Associate to join our growing New York office. The role offers the chance to manage a high volume of foreclosure and collections matters while gaining courtroom and client‑facing experience in a dynamic, fast‑paced practice.

Key Responsibilities

Handle a large docket of mortgage foreclosure and collections cases.

Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and discovery matters.

Conduct case research and resolve procedural or compliance challenges.

Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients and co‑counsel.

Contribute to firm growth through reliable, high‑quality legal work.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in creditors’ rights, foreclosure, or related litigation.

Eligible for admission in New York federal district and bankruptcy courts.

Familiarity with TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code preferred.

Strong written advocacy, negotiation, and client management skills.

JD from an accredited law school.
