Social Media Content Creator (Kpop)
A2O Entertainment is a Global Culture and Technology Enterprise led by Producer Soo Man Lee, the founder of K-Pop (SM Entertainment).
The Social Media Content Creator will produce dynamic, platform-specific content for TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, and other social media channels to promote K-pop artists, albums, and events. This role demands a deep understanding of K-pop culture, social media trends, and content production techniques to drive fan engagement and viral reach. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with strong video editing skills, a passion for K-pop, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
1) Responsibilities:
- Content Creation:
- Conceptualize, film, and edit short-form video content (e.g., TikTok dance challenges, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) that aligns with K-pop aesthetics and artist branding.
- Produce visually appealing static content (e.g., Instagram posts, Stories) using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or Figma.
- Develop creative content ideas, such as fan-driven hashtag campaigns, behind-the-scenes vlogs, or lyric video teasers, to boost engagement.
- Platform-Specific Optimization:
- Tailor content to each platforms best practices (e.g., 1560-second videos for TikTok, high-quality visuals for Instagram, real-time updates on X).
- Leverage trending audio, filters, and effects on TikTok and Instagram to maximize discoverability and align with K-pop trends.
- Post content on platforms like Weverse to engage dedicated K-pop fan communities.
- Fan Engagement:
- Interact with fans through comments, DMs, and live streams to foster community loyalty and gather feedback for content ideation.
- Curate and repost fan-generated content (e.g., dance covers, fan art) to strengthen artist-fan connections.
- Collaborate with influencers and fan accounts to amplify content reach.
- Trend Monitoring:
- Stay ahead of social media trends, K-pop culture shifts, and platform algorithm changes to ensure content remains relevant and viral.
- Research competitor content and emerging creators to inspire innovative ideas.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Track content performance using platform analytics (e.g., TikTok Analytics, Instagram Insights) and tools like Sprout Social or Hootsuite.
- Provide weekly reports on engagement metrics (views, likes, shares) and suggest optimizations to improve performance.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, artist management, and A&R teams to align content with release schedules, tours, and brand campaigns.
- Partner with external creators, choreographers, or stylists to produce high-impact content for major releases or events.
2) Qualifications:
- Qualification:
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
- Strong storytelling and visual aesthetics, with an eye for K-pops vibrant and dynamic style.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and content scheduling platforms (e.g., Later, Hootsuite).
- Excellent time management and ability to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines.
- Deep knowledge of K-pop culture, including fan trends, idol group dynamics, and fandom terminology (e.g., biases, comebacks, lightsticks).
- Additional Requirements:
- Comfortable filming and editing on mobile devices for quick-turnaround content.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, to cover live events, comebacks, or fan interactions.
- Fluency in Korean or familiarity with Korean entertainment culture is a plus but not required.
