About the Position
- This role reports to the VP of Marketing
- We're seeking a Shopify Plus Expert / Full-Stack Web Developer who can bring technical excellence and creative insight to our digital presence. You'll own projects from concept to deployment, building responsive, high-performing web experiences that strengthen our e-commerce ecosystem and brand storytelling
- This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring coding expertise, data-driven thinking, and problem-solving skills to support growth initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with the marketing team to optimize performance, enhance design features, improve site functionality, integrate third-party systems, and drive measurable growth through experimentation and analytics
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain responsive front-end and back-end web architecture for Shopify-based sites
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement new features, enhance UX, and improve conversion
- Build and maintain custom Shopify apps and integrations
- Manage and maintain key integrations, including ERP, ESP (email), Google Shopping, Affiliates, Meta product feeds, and other third-party marketing systems
- Implement and maintain analytics tagging, tracking, and pixels through Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure top-tier site speed, uptime, technical SEO performance, and reliability
- Partner with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to execute A/B tests and conversion optimization initiatives
- Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain codebase integrity
- Leverage analytics tools to test, measure, and refine user experiences for conversion optimization
- Stay up to date on Shopify updates, API changes, and emerging tools to improve functionality
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Shopify's Admin System — mandatory
- At least 5+ years of Shopify development experience
- Experience building Shopify apps using Ruby on Rails or PHP (with REST/JSON API integration)
- Proven ability to manage full-stack web projects from concept through launch
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Content Experiments, and CRO best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and project ownership mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Experience with ERP and ESP integrations and maintenance
- Proficiency in integrating and maintaining Google Shopping and Facebook feeds
- Strong understanding of analytics tagging, tracking, and pixel implementation best practices through GTM
- Technical SEO knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, or .NET
- Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
- Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accountability for delivering quality results
