What You'll Do: Program and optimize laser cutting machines for accuracy and efficiency. Use SolidWorks and CAD software to design, modify, and prepare parts for production. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure correct setups. Collaborate closely with fabrication and production teams to ensure seamless workflow. Troubleshoot and adjust laser programs and setups to maintain top quality. What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a laser programmer in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment. Proficiency with SolidWorks and other CAD design tools (experience with nesting software is a plus). Strong understanding of sheet metal design, tolerances, and materials.
