Logistics Processor
The ideal logistics processor is independent, motivated, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences every day. A day in a life of a logistics processor includes receiving, unloading freight, unpacking and delivering newly arrived merchandise to selling departments. They fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards, prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing and shipping standards, and utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with our inventory control processes. They assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms and provide general support to the store, e.g. setting up special events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures. You own this if you have a high level of ownership, accountability and initiative, had success working in a fast-paced environment thanks to your ability to prioritize multiple tasks, organizational skills and attention to detail, the skills to use a variety of technology and new computer applications, and the ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs. Physical Requirements include continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers. Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head. Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
