Location: 900 Winderley Place, Suite 2200 Maitland, FL 32751 The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Orlando Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368‑bed AdventHealth Orlando Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year The role you’ll contribute: The Public Relations Specialist collaborates with community partners, volunteers and driver license/tax offices to help maximize education on organ and tissue donation and actionable donor designations. Under supervision, the public education coordinator implements and evaluates public education initiatives tailored for specific audiences in addition to assisting with the TransLife volunteer program to enhance community engagement. In addition, this position actively participates in providing outstanding customer service, contributing to maintaining respectful relationships with all individuals. The value you’ll bring to the team: Collaborates with the public relations manager to create strategic plans for educational campaigns. Evaluates the effectiveness of educational initiatives and makes recommendations for improvements. Coordinates with community partners, volunteers, and driver license/tax offices to maximize education on organ and tissue donation. Assists with the TransLife volunteer program to enhance community engagement and support for donation initiatives. Provides monthly progress reports to the public relations manager on the status of educational campaigns. Conducts in‑services and large‑scale events to promote organ and tissue donation and donor designation. Performs social media content analysis to ensure mission‑focused engagement with key target audiences. Shares social media analysis results and recommendations with the public relations manager. Serves as a liaison to student volunteers engaged in educational campaigns. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Required: 2+ Work Experience Exceptional communication and organizational skills Ability to write for and communicate with a diverse constituency, including but not limited to, donor families, volunteers, high school and college staff and faculty, hospital personnel, medical professionals, media, driver license/tax office staff and customers, and corporate and community partners Fluent in social media trends, calendars and content management systems Self‑motivated, systematic in approaches and flexible to the needs of 24/7 organization Comfortable giving presentations to audiences of all sizes Able to write, read and speak English Proficient user of all Microsoft Office applications #J-18808-Ljbffr
