Job Overview

A dynamic Video Production Engineer is needed to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. This contract‑to‑permanent position involves supervising video production operations, managing A/V systems, and creating compelling visual content that connects with the community. The ideal candidate will lead creative projects, ensure seamless technical operations, and collaborate across teams to produce high‑quality media.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the video production team, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage and maintain A/V systems, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Produce engaging video and photography content that aligns with organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Operate A/V equipment during studio shoots, field productions, and live events.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for broadcast and production operations.
  • Create or oversee the development of 2D and 3D animations for digital and television platforms.
  • Research and propose innovative and cost‑effective solutions for production technology.
  • Lead training sessions for staff on the latest production tools and techniques.
  • Coordinate timelines, budgets, and deliverables for video projects to ensure successful execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in video production and A/V systems management.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing creative and technical teams.
  • Advanced skills in video editing, animation, lighting, and related production tools.
  • Strong expertise in system configuration, design, and troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with strategic communication and electronic components used in production environments.
  • Knowledge of voice gateways and audio‑visual technologies.
