Job Summary
We're seeking an on-site Social Media Manager who lives and breathes gaming culture and can capture the energy of live production. You'll own the content calendar, publish real‑time coverage from our studio and events, create short‑form edits, engage the community, and report on performance. You'll collaborate closely with producers, graphics, and talent to turn moments into measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
- Plan and own the weekly/monthly content calendar across platforms.
- Capture and publish real‑time content from the studio and live events (photo, video, Stories, Shorts/Reels/TikToks).
- Edit short‑form content and cutdowns; write platform‑native copy and headlines.
- Engage with community comments, DMs, and creator/partner accounts; elevate issues as needed.
- Coordinate with production, graphics, and talent to align content with show rundowns and brand guidelines.
- Track performance, build reports, and recommend data‑driven optimizations (format, timing, hooks).
- Maintain asset libraries, permissions, and credits; ensure compliance with partner and sponsor requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Deep fluency in gaming culture and esports content trends; understands what plays on each platform.
- Strong visual instincts and copywriting skills; can move quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Data‑driven mindset; comfortable building dashboards and translating metrics into next steps.
- Collaborative and reliable; thrives working shoulder‑to‑shoulder with production and graphics teams.
- Comfortable on‑site to source content in real time; proactive about capturing behind‑the‑scenes moments.
- Local to Atlanta and available for on‑site work at our Uptown studio.
Nice to Have
- Experience covering live broadcasts, tournaments, or creator‑led productions.
- On‑camera confidence for quick hits or interviews if needed.
- Basic motion graphics (e.g., simple lower‑thirds, captions) and thumbnail design skills.
- Familiarity with rights management, music licensing, and sponsor/brand safety guidelines.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
