Location: Seattle, WA (Fremont)

Hybrid Schedule: 40 hour Contract Position (3 days required in office and 2 days remote)

Duration: 3-6 month contract, with potential to transition to fulltime employment

Position Description

We’re seeking a UI Designer to create engaging interfaces for mobile and responsive web applications, with emphasis on project management and mapping interfaces. You will deliver wireframes, comps, prototypes, and annotations that support business goals and requirements. The right candidate is a creative problem solver with a strong portfolio, up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, and experience designing consumer-facing products.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design sleek, user-friendly interfaces for mobile and web
• Validate visual and communication elements (typography, color palettes) and define specs for scalable graphic asset production
• Maintain and update test automation frameworks
• Use Figma and design systems to build scalable UI solutions
• Collaborate with product and engineering to bring concepts to life
• Present your work with confidence, inspiring teams with your creative visions
• Use provided AI tools to streamline the design process

Required Skills:

• 3-4 years in UI/UX design, visual design or hybrid design role
• Strong portfolio showcasing design work, case studies, mockups, and style guides
• Experience designing across multiple devices (mobile and web)
• Understanding of Accessibility and SEO guidelines to improve AI searchability
• Experience leading complex design initiatives and coordinating across teams
• Ability to solve ambiguous design challenges and make strategic trade-offs
• Polish presentation and communication skills
• Ability to create detailed documentation
