UX Designer

Location: Tysons Corner, VA – 4 days a week onsite. Local candidates only. Duration: 12+ months.

Title: UX Designer (Senior). This role supplements an existing robust design system for commercial and enterprise clients, ideally with financial services experience.

• Must have experience designing for commercial, enterprise clients—ideally they have financial services experience.
• Ideally this person has Salesforce experience & financial services experience (e.g., Salesforce Lightning components, developer environment).

Senior UX Designer responsibilities include:

• Work to supplement an existing robust design system.
• Must have experience working with Salesforce Lightning components or in a Salesforce development environment and/or some experience with financial services.
• Experience reimagining application workflows as we are overhauling our entire digital experience for members.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and champion of user-centered design to improve the user experience of all digital properties (.org, account origination, online and mobile banking, marketing microsites, etc.).
• Provide architectural deliverables such as user task/journey flows, wireframes, comps, prototypes, publishable interfaces in Figma, and understand opportunities & constraints with Salesforce (HUGE plus).
• Drive UX-related business requirements in collaboration with business analysts, content strategists, and digital analysts.
• Plan and conduct usability tests and contextual inquiries with users/members, providing guidance and solution options based on user feedback.
• Inform departmental management vision and decision-making toward continuous evolution of digital properties to achieve corporate objectives.
• Capture and translate management's vision into concrete UX deliverables.
• Maintain the design system and UX standards in close collaboration with other designers, partnering with developers when necessary.
• Complete any other job-related duties needed to help drive Vision, fulfill Purpose, and abide by Organization's Values.
• Comfortable working as an independent contributor working most closely with 1-2 business units & stakeholders to understand business needs, goals, tracking metrics, and how to improve the digital experience of the LOB they serve.
