We’ve recently moved into a new creative studio space in San Jose and are expanding our local team to strengthen our brand presence, build community, and share the stories behind our work.
Role Overview This is an on-site, part‑time position (not hybrid or remote). You’ll work directly with the founders and design team to plan, film, edit, and publish high-quality video and social content for Hatch Duo’s digital channels — including YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
You’ll report directly to Hatch Duo’s Chief Revenue Officer and Partner, collaborating closely to develop and execute content strategy, brand campaigns, and storytelling initiatives that elevate Hatch Duo’s digital presence. We’re looking to hire immediately.

Plan, shoot, and edit video content showcasing Hatch Duo’s design work, people, and studio culture.
Write captions, short blog posts, and marketing copy aligned with our brand voice.
Maintain a consistent posting calendar (Buffer or similar tools).

Design & typography in Adobe Photoshop, Canva — with strong aesthetic judgment.
Copywriting: ability to write clear, concise, engaging copy for social and blog content.
AI tools: ChatGPT, Opus Clip Pro, Descript (proficient but not reliant).
Platforms: Buffer, Facebook Ads, Mailchimp, Slack, WordPress.
Analytics & SEO: understanding of metrics, performance tracking, and growth optimization.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and deadline‑driven.
Preferred
Background or education in Design or Industrial Design.
Understanding of the creative process and storytelling within a design context.
Equipment We provide access to cameras and lighting, but you should bring your own preferred setup (laptop, camera, or gear you’re comfortable working with).
Culture Fit We’re looking for someone who adds to the social energy and creative rhythm of the studio — proactive, collaborative, and passionate about shaping culture and content. A go‑getter who wants to make an impact, learn, and grow with the team as our social channels expand.

Live within a 10-mile radius of our San Jose studio.
Must have a car and reliable transportation for on‑demand filming and assisting teammates with on‑site needs.
Must be available to work on‑site 3 days per week.
Must submit both a demo reel showcasing your video work and a short introduction video (1–2 minutes) explaining why you’d be a great fit.
Applications without a video will not be reviewed.
