Responsibilities

Develop the “Go to Market” (GTM) strategy and overarching story for KPMG's Consumer and Retail industry.

Manage the coordination and execution of an integrated cross‑functional marketing plan to establish brand, support relationship development, and growth with target audiences and sales channels.

Execute the sector's thought leadership strategy, ensuring adherence with quality standards, and extend across an omni‑channel approach (digital, social media, video, podcast, webinar, blogs, association affiliation, and tradeshow sponsorships).

Partner with Field Marketing, Hub Marketing, Communications, Media Relations, and Industry analyst community to augment brand reach.

Perform market research to inform strategic Point of View (POV) documents as critical changes take place in the industry.

Diagnose client and prospect needs, translate into qualifications and use cases, and architect the positioning to solve critical client marketing opportunities; identify events or venues that attract targeted buyers and influencers to increase brand awareness or change brand image and potentially drive sales and/or create positive publicity that drives new opportunities.

Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum ten years of recent experience in combined marketing and business in professional services or similar corporate environment.

Master of business administration degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.

Consumer and Retail experience is preferred; project management and internal client service knowledge and budget management is also preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, written, oral communications skills and executive presence.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
