Position Summary The Channel Marketing Manager – Wholesale (CMM‑W) is responsible for developing strategies and driving sales and profitability of Gerber product lines through identified sales channels. The CMM‑W will drive the marketing strategy and provide the sales team with roadmaps to successful execution of marketing, pricing, promotional, and program initiatives to drive market share gain and growth both new and existing within their channel.
The CMM‑W owns the acquisition of marketing campaigns from beginning to end—print media, social media, digital, channel‑specific campaign advertising strategies—including concept development, coordinating creative, internal communications, working with internal and external partners, and organizing sales and operations resources.
Responsibilities
Channel Marketing Strategy – identify target growth segments, plan and execute key marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and sales growth.
Research & Analysis – gain a deep understanding of the voice‑of‑customer, customer buying journey, competitive landscape, and market trends; analyze that information and present conclusions to internal stakeholders for market opportunity and/or adjustments in strategy.
New Product Commercialization – develop new product marketing plans ensuring successful launch of new products within the wholesale channel.
Conceptualize Design – provide creative direction to internal team members on all marketing assets developed for the channel, ensuring the team understands the purpose, vision, and use case for each asset.
Channel Marketing Budget – manage, analyze, and maximize the channel marketing budget.
Buying Group Program Management – together with the sales leadership, develop sales incentive programs for key buying group partnerships and ensure the programs are marketed accordingly.
Performance Tracking – establish measurements for success for all strategic plans, track and report on results.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing or business preferred; equivalency considered.
10+ years of hands‑on marketing experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading the development of channel marketing plans focused on digital marketing to the B2B sector.
Experience leading and managing direct reports preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and leadership skills.
Bright, analytical, goal‑oriented with high standards for quality and performance.
Flexibility to work with others from different cultures, work habits, and management styles.
Hardworking, action‑oriented, and results‑driven.
Demonstrates a “roll up your sleeves” initiative to get the job done.
Willingness to cooperate and accept added responsibilities.
