Associate Ops Marketing Manager
to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate $30/hr - $33/hr
Position Overview As the Associate Ops Marketing Manager, you will join the Go-to-Market team to drive growth within key city markets. Collaborating closely with the Sales and Culinary teams, you will deliver targeted solutions to small restaurant chains by leveraging local insights, relevant content, and a deep understanding of your city’s foodservice landscape. This is a one-year contract role in the Chicago, IL area.
Responsibilities of the Associate Ops Marketing Manager
Deep understanding of the local food-service landscape, including menus, competitors, and consumers.
Strong hyper-local focus to know your city's food-service scene inside and out.
Translate insights into action: plan, design, and launch market executions.
Localize national brand campaigns into tools for the Sales team.
Team up with the Culinary team to create region-specific menu inspiration.
Produce operator-group content for digital to fuel demand generation.
Help grow and maintain the operator contact database.
Spot local food-service events, build 360° plans, and execute.
Collaborate across Marketing (digital, trade) to ensure consistent messaging and market relevance.
Required Experience and Skills
3+ years of experience in foodservice with sales exposure.
Proven ability to build strong relationships across cross-functional teams and engage confidently with customers.
Excellent project management, presentation abilities, and strong business acumen.
Comfortable learning and using systems (e.g., Salesforce and Power BI) and driven to become a proficient user.
Genuine passion for results and a strong interest in the food industry.
Experience with CRM, social media campaigns, email marketing, and digital content.
Standard full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week).
Must be able to travel within the Metro Houston area.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Culinary, or a related field is required.
