Job Description

Directs and oversees operations within the organization's marketing function. Manages the work of a team that drafts marketing communications, including promotional publications, presentations, advertisements, or brochures; reviews and edits messages to ensure that they are clear, thorough, on‑brand, and seek to preserve the company's image. Works to build the entire foundation of the brand identity for Aimbridge Hospitality.

QUALIFICATIONS

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience, including some prior management experience.

Has extensive experience with the concepts and principles of one or more related fields or departments.

Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination. Supervision is often provided through a team of subordinate managers.

Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management.

Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.

Ability to make strategic plans.

Good communication skills needed to build a healthy relation with the media unit.

Must possess the capability to manage and regulate the matters related to the marketing section of the company.

Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

Ability to coordinate the different departments of marketing in the company.

Detail‑oriented with ability to oversee projects from origin through execution.

Ability to foster teamwork, leadership skills, oral and written communication skills, analytical thinking skills, planning skills, creativity, and ability to multi‑task and prioritize.

Willingness to learn and should be able to flourish in a high‑growth, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Must have excellent social communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrates the tenacity to carry out regular market research.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops and implements marketing plans and campaigns meant to promote the organization or its products and services.

Understands industry and competitive trends and identifies and targets specific new or underserved markets.

Oversees the production of print, online, or other forms of advertisement, and organizes special events or promotions.

Establishes metrics defining campaign performance; modifies campaigns based on ROI analysis.

Develops promotional materials, which include marketing print and collateral copies.

Creates and executes marketing policies and plans.

Designs, implements, and facilitates annual marketing strategies for the organization.

Develops and delivers insightful strategies and presentations to the executive committee and business department where appropriate.

Devises marketing strategy based on organizational policy, market nature, royalty and copyright requirements, and cost factors.

Translates business department objectives and strategies into brand portfolio objectives, plans, and strategies to facilitate the growth of the business unit.

Creates strategies for disseminating information to drive sales of the organization's products or services.

Defines target audiences and tailors messages and delivery channels.

Collects data on the performance of specific communications or campaigns and modifies strategies to improve performance.

Coordinates with IT on the development and enhancement of the company's commercial online portals and blogs to ensure high system availability and easy access for its global customers.

Ensures the internet marketing of the company is as effective as possible.

Administers the budget of Marketing Operations.
