Corporate Planning & Communications Advisor
Hybrid Work Schedule
– $80.00/hr – Initial 7 months contract – Temporary position focused on elevating brand visibility and CSR through strategic public relations and social media outreach.
This role is designed for a proactive self-starter who can blend storytelling, strategic planning, and a business-oriented mindset to promote CSR initiatives and enhance overall brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Drive awareness of CSR initiatives through strategic PR, social media, and internal communications, linking social responsibility efforts to business objectives and brand reputation.
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media and PR strategy to promote the Canon showroom, focusing on amplifying CSR efforts to internal and external audiences.
Conduct research and vet charitable organizations to ensure alignment with corporate brand values and long-term CSR strategy.
Collaborate with the Corporate Planning & Communications team to coordinate and execute CSR-related conferences, trade shows, press interviews, and media events.
Content Development & Communications
Copyedit, proofread, and revise high-stakes internal and external communications to deliver polished, executive‑ready content across all platforms.
Prepare agendas and conduct in‑depth research to provide the Director with insights and analytics derived from press releases and media coverage.
Own initiatives with high attention to detail and a commitment to timely completion of deliverables.
Stakeholder Engagement & Operations
Support the expansion of showroom usage for both internal and external stakeholders, including conducting showroom tours.
Coordinate with key managers and directors to maintain a comprehensive corporate calendar aligned with all CSR initiatives and public‑facing activities.
Utilize strong event‑management skills to ensure the successful execution of brand campaigns that elevate overall brand perception.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience:
Ideally 7+ years of professional experience focused on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Public Relations (PR), and Social Media.
Skills:
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills are mandatory.
Proven experience in event management is a strong plus.
A demonstrated sales‑oriented or business‑focused mindset when promoting non‑profit or social responsibility initiatives.
