Security Officer – Flex Media Patrols

Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part‑Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries.

Job Schedule Thur 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to deter theft, vandalism, and other security‑related concerns.
Document and report security‑related incidents and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Support access control processes to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the location.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and uphold location policies.
Minimum Requirements
Customer service experience preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Access control or badge experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
