Overview Pulse Evangelism, launched in 2006 in North Dakota by Nick Hall, is a leading global evangelistic ministry on a mission to reach the lost and unleash young evangelists. Living at the intersection of live events and digital efforts, Pulse Evangelism exists to bring the message of Jesus to the pulse of a generation by all means possible, through the ministry of Nick Hall and a team of emerging evangelists.
The
Director of Marketing and Growth
will oversee the planning and execution of digital initiatives and creative assets, ensuring alignment with Pulse’s mission to Make Jesus Known. Acting as a bridge between vision and execution, this leader will provide strategic direction for the Digital Evangelism and Creative (DEC) Team, while working closely with the Vice President of Marketing, Director of Projects, and the Director of Marketing and Communications to drive organizational health, streamline operations, and deliver measurable results across platforms, channels and departments.
The DEC Team focuses on visual branding, digital‑first strategies, creative media production, and platform‑specific engagement—developing creative assets, running digital campaigns, and leveraging user‑generated content to amplify Pulse’s evangelistic vision. Through innovative digital experiences, the DEC team resonates with younger audiences while remaining true to Pulse’s mission. While the DEC team leads digital innovation and creative development, the Marketing/Communications function ensures integrated messaging, branding, and public‑facing consistency.
This Director will lead, manage, and develop a high‑energy team of passionate young professionals.

Responsibilities
Direct project planning, scheduling, and management for multiple campaigns, ensuring timely execution and effective onboarding and training for the project management platform.
Ensure a seamless and engaging user experience across visual and digital touchpoints by implementing testing protocols, conducting research, and analyzing data to identify opportunities for optimization in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Lead the strategy and management of social media platforms and websites, driving engagement with target audiences in collaboration with the marketing team to meet objectives and assess performance.
Oversee the coordination and optimization of organic media for the company portfolio, working with the marketing team to align creative direction and manage vendor relations in support of organizational goals.
Collaborate with the finance team to track and manage digital and creative budgets, ensuring cost‑effective solutions and alignment with organizational priorities.
Manage the use of data analytics tools to track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators for organic digital marketing initiatives, providing actionable insights and strategies to enhance performance, engagement, and growth.
Manage and enhance online content, optimizing for SEO and utilizing Google Analytics to improve content visibility and user engagement.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing, sharing insights with marketing teams to foster continuous improvement and maintain a competitive edge.
Promote a culture of innovation, experimentation, and collaboration.
Develop, refine and implement scalable systems for project intake, prioritization, and execution, ensuring long‑term efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
Lead, manage, and develop the Digital Evangelism and Creative (DEC) team, creating a healthy culture that prioritizes collaboration, growth, and high performance.
Hire and manage contractors for creative and digital media projects when external support is necessary, balancing internal workloads to maintain efficiency.
Implement strategies to leverage user‑generated content (UGC) for digital campaigns, amplifying storytelling and engagement.
Establish a robust KPI framework to measure performance and impact across digital and creative initiatives for EOS.
Key Success Metrics
Achieve a 90% Brand Consistency Score (BCS) in quarterly creative audits, ensuring all visual assets (digital or print) adhere to master brand and approved style guidelines, logos, color palettes, and messaging.
Achieve an 8–12% click‑through rate (CTR) across email and social campaigns by refining creative assets, optimizing calls‑to‑action, and implementing targeted A/B tests.
Maintain consistent >9,146 engagement reach for primary content per core post.

Experience & Education
5+
years experience leading, developing, and supervising teams, vendors, and contractors, with a proven ability to collaborate across functions to deliver strategic outcomes. Fluency in multiple media formats—print, digital, photography, video, and social media—is required.
5+ years
of project management experience, including executing multi‑platform media plans, overseeing digital marketing initiatives, and building scalable systems to support growth.
Demonstrated experience in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, content marketing, and social media, with expertise in analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Skilled in project management with the ability to plan, schedule, and handle multiple design projects for various campaigns and hit deadlines.
Experience in
Adobe Creative Suite , Monday.com, analytics platforms like Google Analytics, and creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite), CRM platforms like HubSpot and Salesforce.
Degree in communications, marketing, multimedia arts, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to excellence in design and content creation.
Ability to work independently with little supervision and in a team environment.
