Downstream Product Marketing Manager – Restorative & Prevention (R&P)

Position Summary As Downstream Product Marketing Manager, you will lead category‑level execution of go‑to‑market strategies, product launches, and commercial enablement for Solventum’s strategic dental portfolio. You will translate global strategy into actionable marketing plans, drive launch excellence, and partner closely with upstream marketing, lifecycle marketing, regional marketing, sales, and other cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent execution and profitable growth globally.
Global Product & Brand Execution
Develop and implement global marketing plans in alignment with portfolio and business strategy.
Manage product lifecycle from launch to rationalization, ensuring consistent global brand and product positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
Partner with Upstream Marketing to lead global commercialization planning activities for new products, including monitoring post‑launch performance and facilitating knowledge transfer for successful launches.
Drive launch excellence and collaborate with regional marketing and sales teams to maximize market adoption and growth.
Performance Tracking & Financial Accountability
Collaborate with Data Analysts and Finance to analyze market trends, share performance, and pricing dynamics to inform strategy and financial forecasting.
Lead business performance reviews, presenting results, insights, and forward plans to senior leadership.
Support annual business planning, forecasting, and budget development with significant P&L accountability.
Regional and Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with regional marketing, sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment on targets and execution plans.
Collaborate with clinical, scientific evidence, application engineering, and regulatory teams to ensure that evidence generation supports commercial claims and pricing strategies.
Work with Lifecycle Portfolio Manager, supply chain, and operations to manage cost of goods, product supply, and lifecycle profitability.
Foster strong relationships with upstream marketing to ensure seamless portfolio transitions and commercialization strategies.
Your Skills and Expertise Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution.
5+ years in downstream marketing, product management, or commercial strategy.
Demonstrated success in launching and managing healthcare products, ideally in dental or medical device sectors.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across global teams.
Experience with demand planning, pricing strategy, and sales enablement.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed:
Experience working with clinical stakeholders and KOLs to shape product messaging.
Proven P&L management experience.
Familiarity with restorative dentistry, digital dentistry workflows, and customer engagement platforms.
Ability to thrive in an action‑oriented and high accountability environment.
Track record of collaborating cross‑functionally to deliver actionable recommendations, especially with upstream marketing teams.
Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or other regulated industries.
Work location: Remote.
Travel: 30% domestic and international travel required.
