Position: eCommerce Product Copy Editor

Hybrid opportunity in Dallas‑Fort Worth, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and enhance AI‑generated sales copy for online products (titles, short and long descriptions) to be clear, engaging and SEO‑optimized, and provide feedback for AI prompts.
  • Proofread and edit all copy for grammar, clarity and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Work proactively with cross‑functional teams to understand product benefits and ensure accuracy of product information.
  • Maintain a consistent copy style guide across categories and brands.
  • Translate technical product details into consumer‑friendly benefits.
  • Ensure all product copy reflects the appropriate brand voice and style.
  • Support A/B testing efforts by creating variant copy for product titles and descriptions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Journalism, English or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience.
  • Experience developing branded copy for the internet, preferably in an eCommerce or retail environment.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Good organizational, multitasking and time‑management skills.
  • Working knowledge of eCommerce, current web content development practices, SEO principles and keyword integration.
  • Experience with product information management (PIM) systems or eCommerce CMS is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage large volumes of SKUs.

The salary range for this opportunity is $60,500 – $75,000.
