Job Summary

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to lead the strategic planning and direction of Olive Young USA’s owned content — spanning social channels, beautorials, and other editorial formats. This role will define what stories we tell, how we tell them, and where we show up, ensuring a consistent brand narrative and aesthetic across all touchpoints.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking and cultural intuition, with a strong understanding of beauty, wellness, and creator-driven content. They will develop editorial calendars, shape content themes, and guide creative partners (internal and external) to bring campaigns to life that strengthen Olive Young’s brand positioning in the U.S.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and produce creative content for social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
  • Lead beautorial and product-focused content creation, including ideation, shoot direction, and editing coordination.
  • Develop creative briefs and guidelines for internal and external creators.
  • Monitor social trends and propose brand-relevant ideas to enhance engagement and visibility.
  • Develop creative concepts and visuals for campaigns, events (i.e. KCON, PR activations), and seasonal storytelling.
  • Collaborate with HQ MKT teams to create visually aligned and brand-consistent assets.
  • Ensure brand tone and visual identity are consistently applied across all touchpoints.
  • Work closely with the Influencer & Social Media Marketing Manager to align content direction, tone, and posting cadence.
  • Support communication with creative agencies and manage production timelines.
  • Support cross-functional or ad-hoc marketing projects related to new initiatives, partnerships, or campaigns as needed.
  • The role may evolve as Olive Young USA’s marketing operations expand; scope may be adjusted based on business needs while maintaining alignment with the employee’s primary area of expertise.

Qualifications

  • 3 years+ of experience in social content creation, digital marketing, or creative production (beauty/fashion industry preferred).
  • Strong understanding of U.S. social media trends and short-form video content.
  • Experience developing creative concepts and managing production with designers, photographers, or editors.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment.
