Sr. Technical Proposal Writer, Tyson's Corner, VA

Our client, Satsyil Corporation, is seeking a Sr. Technical Proposal Writer to support competitive proposal bids on government and commercial contracts.

This position is within the Strategy & Business Development Capture Operations & Excellence Group, supporting the company’s largest, most strategic bids.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with SMEs to document, write, and articulate winning solutions against proposal requirements.
• Write responses to technical, management, past performance, staffing plans, and transition sections.
• Collaborate in a team to clearly articulate solution, strategy, approach, win themes, and discriminators.
• Gather information from internal/external personnel to support writing activities.
• Produce clear, compliant, compelling proposal text.
• Develop and implement process improvements to improve proposal quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5+ years of related experience; 2+ years as a proposal writer responding to Federal Government solicitations.
• Experience with Federal Government proposals.
• Experience with traditional video, live oral, and/or demonstration proposals.
• Evidence of successful high‑quality, high‑scoring proposals.
• Strong writing, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong work ethic and desire to excel and grow over time.

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a competitive proposal environment responding to Federal Government solicitations.
