Senior Media Buyer is a full‑time, salaried position within the Media Buying department at Priority Marketing, a full‑service advertising agency located in Fort Myers, FL. The Senior Media Buyer is responsible for planning annual budgets, negotiating traditional media (TV, Radio, Outdoor, Print) buys, sending orders, sending artwork, reconciling invoices, researching media outlets, auditing media and maintaining media department records. The position requires organization, efficient time‑management skills, self‑motivation, attention to detail, ability to critically think and present ideas concisely and clearly. The Media Buying department coordinates TV, radio, outdoor, newspaper, magazine and online media for clients, which are diverse in industry – retail, restaurant, medical, construction, law, banking and more.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as TV media buying software
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field
- 5+ years’ experience directly related to the media industry
- Knowledge of media buying software (i.e. Strata, MediaForce, etc.)
- Knowledge of SWFL media outlets
