Location

Remote candidates located in the U.S. are open to the role. Strong preference for candidates in or near our physical footprint: Louisville, KY; Cincinnati, OH; Indianapolis, IN; Chicago, IL. Hybrid work model core to how we deliver impact. Onsite time and periodic travel for client meetings and team gatherings is expected.

Who is the Senior Account Manager?

Account managers are people‑people, responsible for relationships between Leap and clients. The Senior Account Manager is a proven project facilitator, adept at guiding cross‑functional teams with focus on scope, delivery, and client expectations, a trusted resource and brand steward.

Responsibilities

  • Client engagement – relationships with mid‑senior and junior levels, senior level client familiarity.
  • Manages up to AD – provides info on client relationship health, project status, and hourly burn rate.
  • AMM leadership – direction and support for subordinate staff.
  • Cross‑functional team leadership – leads meetings and presentations, takes point on next steps.
  • Strategic thought leadership – input to internal strategists, guidance to teams.
  • Project involvement – manages high and medium‑touch assignments, drives KO, fulfillment, completion of quality deliverables.
  • Creative guidance and assessment – ensures great direction in and high quality goes out.
  • Media guidance and assessment – ensures great direction in and high quality goes out.
  • Digital experience assessment – manages and holds teams accountable for timely, insightful, actionable reporting.
  • Production influence – works with producers to manage projects and gain client alignment to ensure momentum and efficiency.
  • Financial awareness – approves billing, monitors hours and helps manage projects for efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years agency account management experience.
  • Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy.
  • Experience managing government or public section clients – understanding of compliance and communication nuances.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Skilled in brainstorming with a team for creative ideation.
  • Prior experience with B2B and B2C marketing.
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and deadlines without sacrificing timeliness or quality.
  • High degree of detail, process orientation.
  • Self‑starter mentality with passion for continuous learning.
