H&M is hiring: HM Sales Advisor Fashion Square Mall Sherman Oaks in Los Angeles

About the Role

As a Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through your store to actively sell products and provide support and guidance. You’ll use fashion and product knowledge to share relevant information for the best customer experience. You’ll also be involved in garment refill and care, presentation, and maintaining a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, working closely with the store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

A Day in the Life

Working at H&M means no two days are the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities.

• Customer Sales & Profit: Provide excellent customer service, welcome and guide customers through the store and the OMNI experience where available, and support direct customer service; engage with customers to provide excellent service; guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products; promote and sell products; actively promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives; represent the H&M brand positively in all interactions; support with commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team

Responsibilities by Area

• Fashion & Trend Awareness: Keep up-to-date with fashion scene, trends, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers; share relevant information with customers using product and fashion knowledge
• Team & Development: Retain and share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleagues; follow procedures, routines, and legal requirements; give and receive feedback; participate in onboarding, introductions and trainings relevant to the role and future development
• Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution: Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and garment care; operate fitting room and checkout areas following best practices; contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house; support garment presentation, execution and attractive merchandise displays; maintain stock levels with replenishment; follow in-store OMNI services and tech tools; assist with opening and closing of the store; follow all health & safety guidelines and legal requirements

Qualifications

• As a Sales Advisor, you’ll be passionate about fashion and what we create in-store; motivated by giving customers a great experience
• Strong communication, creativity and curiosity; motivated, flexible, decisive and action-oriented
• Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment
• Have sales experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment applicable to the role
• Experience in customer service in fashion, retail or other service-related industries
