Manduka, El Segundo, CA, United States, 90245
Sr Graphic Designer (Marketing & Creative)
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Department: Marketing & Creative
Reports to: Art Director
Overview
We’re looking for a highly organized and conceptually minded Graphic Designer to join our Marketing and Creative team. This role will design across channels—email, social, web, wholesale, and B2B—bringing Manduka’s storytelling to life through thoughtful, elevated visuals that connect with our global community.
The ideal candidate is both creative and strategic: someone who designs with narrative intention, not just sales goals. You’ll help translate brand and product stories into compelling visual experiences that inspire engagement and reflect the values of the practice.
This role collaborates closely with the DTC, Wholesale Marketing, Social, and CRM teams and supports our Global (EU) team with creative assets to ensure brand consistency across regions.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Storytelling Design
- Concept, design, and produce brand‑aligned creative for email, homepage, social, and digital storytelling.
- Partner with CRM and Social teams to create content that balances commerce with brand narrative—designing visually engaging experiences that educate and inspire.
- Collaborate with the DTC team to design and build landing pages that highlight product storytelling and support key seasonal moments.
- Partner with the Art Director to translate creative direction into scalable design systems across channels and formats.
- Design assets for global use, supporting both North American and EU teams with localized creative and shared storytelling materials.
Wholesale & B2B Design
- Create sell‑in and sell‑through materials including line sheets, decks, and one‑sheets that communicate product stories clearly and beautifully.
- Partner with the Wholesale Marketing team to adapt creative for studio and retail partners, ensuring alignment across consumer and partner touchpoints.
Production & Asset Management
- Prepare and export print and digital‑ready files; manage resizing, retouching notes, and final delivery across platforms.
- Maintain an organized, up‑to‑date creative asset library to ensure consistency and accessibility across departments and regions.
- Support on‑set photo production for PDP shoots—partnering with the Art Director to communicate asset needs and ensure post‑shoot organization.
- Assist in maintaining design templates, typography standards, and visual consistency across all channels.
- Track and manage creative tasks and timelines using Asana to ensure projects stay on schedule and cross‑functional teams are aligned.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Social, Product, and Ecomm teams to deliver cohesive, on‑brand creative.
- Partner with the Art Director to develop visual systems and evolve the brand aesthetic.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of professional design experience (activewear, lifestyle, or consumer goods preferred).
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with Figma or XD a plus.
- Familiarity with Asana or other project management tools.
- Strong conceptual and narrative design skills—you think in stories, not just layouts.
- Demonstrated experience designing for digital storytelling (email, social, landing pages, web).
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and web design best practices.
- On‑set photo or production experience is a plus—especially experience communicating channel‑specific asset needs and collaborating during PDP or content shoots.
- Exceptionally organized; adept at managing multiple projects and maintaining clean file systems.
- Strong communicator and collaborator; comfortable working cross‑functionally and globally.
