Overview
DY Concrete Pumps North America is seeking a skilled Vinyl Graphics Production Manager to lead the in‑house print production of all vinyl wraps and related graphics projects. This is a new and exciting role within our company, offering the opportunity to take ownership of a growing department and shape its future.
Unlike traditional retail wrap shops, this position offers a steady, relaxed workflow focused exclusively on our own fleet of concrete pump trucks and factory projects. The ideal candidate is an experienced vinyl production professional with the technical expertise and initiative to manage their own workflow and elevate our in‑house capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of vinyl print production, including file preparation, color management, printing, and lamination.
- Operate and maintain large‑format printers, laminators, and cutting equipment.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to coordinate project timelines and ensure production deadlines are met.
- Prepare, proof, and produce high‑quality wraps and decals for DY Concrete Pumps’ trucks and facility projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and oversee inventory of print materials.
- Troubleshoot equipment, workflow issues, or print inconsistencies to maintain production quality and efficiency.
- Optional: Assist with vinyl installation for in‑house projects when needed (not required, but a strong plus).
Qualifications
- Expert‑level experience in vinyl print production— including color calibration, substrate selection, and finishing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for print file setup and editing.
- Experience using Onyx or Flexi print production software.
- Strong computer skills with attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to self‑manage workflow, set priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to high‑quality work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience managing a small print production team or department.
- Hands‑on experience with vinyl installation, particularly large‑format wraps or fleet graphics.
- Familiarity with color profiling and ICC management for consistent output.
