Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) – Sinclair Inc.

KVAL is looking for a Multimedia Journalist to cover local news and high school sports in South Lane and Douglas Counties. Your responsibilities as an MMJ will include reporting, shooting and editing news stories, entering story ideas, developing contacts, and other responsibilities as assigned.

The role requires producing daily content on a variety of platforms, including the internet, social networking sites, mobile phones, and television. The ideal candidate would have the option of living in either Roseburg or Eugene and must be willing to travel.

Skills and Experience

• Experience as a reporter at a college or commercial station
• Ability to work well independently
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record
