Salary: $55,000

What You’ll Do

  • Provide leadership in aspects of electronic resources and systems.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and make strategic decisions based on academic program needs.
  • Manage electronic resources including databases, e‑books, and online journals.
  • Troubleshoot access issues and coordinate with IT or vendors to resolve problems.
  • Coordinate trials for new electronic resources in collaboration with other library staff.
  • Extract, analyze, and report data from library systems to support decision‑making.
  • Manage and administer the integrated library system (ILS), including modules for cataloging, acquisitions, and ERM.
  • Perform routine system updates, backups, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
  • Coordinate the implementation of new software or system upgrades.
  • Participate in campus and university committees.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA‑accredited library school.
  • 2‑5 years of full‑time professional experience in electronic resources/systems within an academic library.
  • Demonstrated experience with integrated library systems and electronic resource management.
  • Strong commitment to public and customer service.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Good information literacy and information technology skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Second Master’s degree.
  • Experience working with major library vendors and publishers.
  • Experience with Innovative Interfaces Sierra or similar systems.
