Job Overview
BlueHalo, an AV company, designs, develops, and manufactures the Titan Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS), which provides real-time, non-kinetic protection for people, property, and critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of product capabilities, customer requirements, and end‑user needs.
- Design and produce materials based on specific technical and marketing requirements.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to refine deliverables.
- Apply design principles and human‑computer interaction (HCI) concepts to optimize user experience.
- Manage multiple projects and deliverables to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across all materials and maintain best practices for asset organization, storage, and reuse.
- Coordinate with vendors as needed and ensure adherence to branding and production standards.
- Protect and maintain confidentiality of company intellectual property and assets.
Work Location and Schedule
This position is based onsite at the BlueHalo / AV Titan office in San Diego, California, and follows a standard Monday through Friday, regular business hours schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience as a creative professional in a design or production environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Experience using collaborative design tools such as Figma.
- Working knowledge of prepress formatting, print layout, and publishing standards.
- Strong attention to detail, proofreading, and quality assurance skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, InVision, HTML, CSS, and related tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles including color, typography, proportion, and layout.
- Experience in pre‑production visualization, wireframing, and user‑centered design.
- Knowledge of prepress and print production processes.
- Demonstrated ability to gather and apply feedback from diverse stakeholders.
