TITLE: Social Media Manager

LOCATION: Cedarburg, Wisconsin

TYPE: Direct-hire

SALARY: $60,000 - $75,000 DOE

SUMMARY:

Our client is eager to connect with new audiences and engage their existing base through compelling social media initiatives. They are seeking a social media manager to help them expand their digital footprint and oversee our social communications efforts. You will develop and implement informed content strategies tailored to the strengths of various social media platforms to increase brand awareness and affinity.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Increase engagement for existing audiences with high-quality social initiatives
  • Acquire new followers by filling gaps in their content output
  • Align the brand with new and emerging trends
  • Improve ROI through more consistently on-target messaging
  • Identify new channels to embed the brand that align their direction
  • Glean insights from social data using monitoring tools

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use social media tools to craft, manage and release content to social channels
  • Become an extension of the company’s brand to connect with existing customers, and acquire new ones
  • Analyze the company’s social strategy to make frequent improvement suggestions
  • Stay up to date with new and emerging trends to help keep social media presence consistently relevant
  • Establish key performance indicators to understand efficacy of existing social campaigns and adjust strategy for further optimizations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, and/or social media.
  • Proven track record, 5+ years’ experience providing social media plans within set budgets, including hands‑on experience in content creation, tool management, training and analyzing performance data to optimize strategy.
  • Experience writing sharp and engaging content to craft compelling content tailored to different social media platforms.
  • Experience with platform algorithms and current trends and understand how to make both paid and organic content work together to drive results.
  • Experience in these platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat & TikTok, YouTube.
