Position Summary

The Associate Director is responsible for executing the HCP strategy, evaluating market conditions, identifying issues and opportunities within the CNS/Neurology therapeutic category, and developing targeted campaigns aligned with overarching brand strategies and objectives. The role reports to the Marketing Director and collaborates with internal Teva colleagues, sales teams, and agency partners to deliver HCP content for implementation and launch.

Essential Areas Of Responsibility

  • HCP Strategy and Tactics
    • Implement the overall marketing strategy, including brand positioning, messaging, and target audience identification.
    • Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, personal, non‑personal, KOL engagement, congresses, and other platforms in partnership with agency partners.
    • Refine HCP messaging and campaign elements; identify and pursue growth opportunities; diagnose obstacles to brand growth and provide collaborative solutions.
    • Assist in the annual brand planning process; manage and coordinate all HCP and KOL programs.
  • Brand Management
    • Analyze market data to inform strategic decisions; partner with field sales, sales leadership, and training to develop and execute promotional efforts.
    • Lead and participate in sales and marketing planning meetings; collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Market Access, Sales, Operations, Medical, PARC) to maximize marketing impact.
    • Manage and optimize the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and ROI maximization.
    • Oversee promotional approval processes and ensure policy compliance.
  • Customer Facing Interactions (Internal and External to Teva)
    • Serve as brand liaison to all customer‑facing teams; collaborate with internal and external partners to execute the brand plan flawlessly.
    • Deliver effective presentations to customer‑facing functions and senior management; attend HCP customer meetings and business related meetings/congresses.

Your Experience and Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education / Certification / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or master’s degree in marketing preferred.
  • 7–10 years of marketing and/or sales experience required.
  • Experience managing an Agency Of Record or other agencies supporting a brand required.
  • Experience in CNS/Neurology strongly preferred.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong pharmaceutical industry and business acumen.
  • Able to draw insights from varied sources; perform analysis and provide recommendations.
  • Synthesize complex information and recognize trends; meet objectives and deadlines.
  • Project management experience and ability to coordinate projects with multiple partners and vendors.
  • Demonstrated cross‑functional and global leadership abilities.
  • Manage complexity and urgency.

Travel Requirements

Approximately 30% throughout the United States.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for extended periods at a workstation or mobile equipment.

Visual Acuity

  • Activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.

Working Environment

  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) on site visits (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).

Compensation Data

The annual starting salary for this position ranges from $146,160 to $191,835. Salary factors include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
