Responsibilities Create and revise sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using CAD software or manual drafting methods. Prepare detailed 2D and 3D models based on customer requirements. Read and comprehend complex customer specifications, data sheets, and supplier documentation. Collaborate with project engineering, architectural, or technical services teams to gather necessary information for assignments. Produce documentation to support design drawings effectively. Prepare bills of material and schedules as required. Assist engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittals and address construction issues as they arise. Skills Proficiency in Computer Assisted Design (CAD) software. Strong understanding of drafting techniques and engineering concepts. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members. Qualifications Previous experience in a drafting or design-related role is preferred. Familiarity with industry standards related to drafting and design is advantageous.
