Federal Way, Washington or Remote

Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or related field or equivalent work experience (8 years). In addition to education or education equivalent, requires at least 10 years of progressive marketing management experience including direct oversight of digital marketing channels. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies. Experience leading digital transformation initiatives. Demonstrated success in managing substantial marketing budgets. Experience with donor acquisition and retention strategies. Track record of leveraging data analytics to drive marketing decisions. History of successful collaboration with C-suite executives. Proven ability to measure and report on marketing ROI. Experience managing agency relationships and creative development processes. Background in crisis communications and reputation management.

Preferred Experience:

5+ years in senior leadership/executive role with team management responsibilities. Previous experience in nonprofit, NGO, or social impact organization. International marketing experience. Experience integrating faith-based messaging into marketing communications.

Work Authorization:

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A for any employer.

Estimated hiring range:

$200,000 - $210,000

The Job

The Vice President of Marketing & Digital Experience will lead our global marketing strategies and digital transformation initiatives to advance our mission of helping vulnerable children and communities overcome poverty and injustice. The position will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns and digital experiences that inspire engagement, drive donor acquisition, and strengthen our brand presence worldwide.

As the Vice President of Marketing & Digital Experience, you will oversee a diverse team of marketing professionals, digital strategists, content creators, and UX/UI specialists. Your leadership will be instrumental in crafting compelling narratives that communicate World Vision's impact and mobilize supporters to join our cause. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Program Development, Fundraising, Communications, and Technology to ensure integrated and cohesive marketing approaches across all channels and touchpoints.

This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can balance strategic vision with tactical execution, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize marketing performance and digital user experiences. You will be responsible for managing substantial marketing budgets and resources effectively, demonstrating strong ROI and measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of traditional marketing expertise and digital innovation, with a proven track record of leading successful marketing initiatives in the nonprofit or social impact sector.

Salary & Benefits

WVUS Pay Grade Level:

240

Estimated hiring range is:

$200,000 - $210,000

The posted hiring salary range reflects pay for U.S. locations and is determined using market data and internal compensation guidelines. Actual compensation may vary depending on the candidate's geographic location, job-related experience, and applicable laws. A different range may apply in certain locations.
