As the Social Manager for our Publishing portfolio, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how Tudum connects with audiences across both Netflix social channels and emerging third‑party platforms. You will serve as a bridge between the Publishing and Social teams, ensuring editorial goals are translated into platform‑specific strategies and delivered through a unified, impactful social presence that drives audience growth, engagement, and click‑through to Netflix owned destinations.
Key Responsibilities
Build and Execute Platform‑Specific Social Strategy
Develop and implement innovative, audience‑first social strategies for Publishing across emerging and third‑party platforms (Discord, Roblox, Reddit, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Pinterest, and more).
Stay ahead of platform trends, features, and audience behaviors, ensuring Publishing’s strategy remains current and relevant.
Plan, ideate, and execute social campaigns and experiments with careful consideration of target audience, platform dynamics, campaign timing, creative needs, and content performance.
Cross‑Functional Partnership and Communication
Act as a bridge between Publishing and Social, ensuring Publishing goals inform platform strategies and editorial priorities are amplified through social channels.
Collaborate with Netflix Platform & Title Social teams, the Manager of Off‑Platform Programming & Strategy, and Specialists in Prestige to deliver a unified and impactful social presence.
Attend cross‑team meetings, strategy sessions, and task forces to guarantee shared context and alignment.
Channel Programming & Editorial Execution
Co‑manage Publishing‑wide channel programming (Tudum X, Threads, TikTok, IG), ensuring the right stories reach the right audiences at the right moments.
Oversee content calendar management, scheduling, and creative approvals—serving as one of the final eyes on content before it goes live to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and the Netflix voice.
Develop multi‑title and always‑on promotional narratives based on audience behavior, channel tentpoles, and editorial priorities.
Audience Growth, Engagement & Insights
Drive targeted audience discovery and engagement, pulling users into deeper experiences with Netflix Publishing (site visits, sign‑ups, participation).
Track performance and share insights from social data, leveraging analytics to inform strategy and scale successes.
Identify and scale new opportunities for Publishing on emerging platforms, leveraging platform insights and trends.
Background And Specific Skills
7+ years in social media management, audience development, or digital partnerships, brand partnerships, or consumer products preferably within a major media, publishing, or entertainment brand.
Deep knowledge of what works across various social platforms and experience in multi‑channel distribution efforts.
Proven experience building and executing social strategies for digital publishing or media brands, with a focus on emerging and third‑party platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with sharp editorial judgment and the ability to balance business needs with audience resonance.
Experience working on broad, multi‑platform brand campaigns and delivering nuanced, insight‑based social strategies.
Demonstrated ability to build partnerships, pilot new initiatives, and scale successful programs.
Highly collaborative, able to build strong relationships and work across many internal cross‑functional teams.
Able to prioritize and manage several projects in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment, adhering to shifting deadlines.
Data‑driven, with a track record of using insights to inform strategy and measure success.
High tolerance for change and the capacity to accomplish significant work in a dynamic environment.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; you choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. The range for this role is
$170,000 – $300,000 .
