Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with development and management of content (copy and images) for marketing collateral, direct mail, website, social media, and emails.
Maintain marketing job requests in project management tools such as Wrike.
Coordinate marketing production traffic, reviewing project status with artists, designers, developers, copywriters, managers, directors, clients, and others.
Collaborate with internal and external business partners.
Coordinate photo and video shoots, scheduling venues, props, models, and crews.
Maintain multiple spreadsheets for project schedules, financials, and marketing plans.
Assist with social media/digital marketing efforts related to PR and monitor media.
Assist with concerts and special events to oversee media, photographers, FAMS, and VIP guests.
Plan and execute media events promoting property outlets, amenities, and services.
Support marketing department with compiling marketing assets for partners, developing radio and TV scripts, and assisting in planning special events/promotions.
Maintain a positive professional image when representing Grand Sierra Resort.
Perform additional functions as required by business needs.
Assist in producing large format print assets using the in‑house print facility.
Coordinate distribution and publication of print and digital content.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum of 21 years of age.
Superior organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to produce high‑quality content and complete tasks with consistency and accuracy.
Proficiency in standard business applications: MS Word, Google Docs, MS Excel, Google Sheets, MS PowerPoint, Google Forms.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Provide excellent guest service to internal clients, vendors, and guests.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Work independently and manage multiple projects within timelines.
Flexible to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends as needed.
Hospitality experience, understanding guest expectations and offers.
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proactive, energetic personality with a curious, investigative mind.
Flexible and adaptable to new technologies and practices.
Research ability into application‑related issues and products.
Highly logical and technically proficient.
Keen analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Effective prioritization and execution in high‑pressure environments.
Problem‑solving: define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions through decisive judgment.
Interpret and follow instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Business, or comparable experience required.
Previous casino/resort industry experience preferred.
Experience in brand management or large‑brand consumer communications preferred.
Physical Demands
Stand, kneel, walk, reach, twist, grasp, lift, listen, use computer, telephone, and speak continually.
Frequent wrist motion, dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, writing, typing on keyboard.
Must lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
Indoor and outdoor work; moderate noise levels; exposure to odor and secondhand smoke.
