About the Team The
Music Content Operations
team develops scalable systems and operational processes to support music content partners and ensure a smooth experience on Client's platforms. The team focuses on data-driven problem-solving, issue resolution, and optimizing workflows for global music label partners.
Position Overview The
Music Content Operations Analyst II
will manage day-to-day operations and partner relationships for Client's North American music label partners. The role involves analyzing music-related data, supporting issue resolution, and ensuring compliance with Client's data protection and privacy standards. The ideal candidate brings a background in music or media operations, with strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operational workflows with music label partners to ensure smooth collaboration and issue resolution.
Analyze, validate, and maintain accuracy of music-related data and reports using Excel and other tools.
Communicate regularly with partners and internal teams regarding data delivery, validation, and documentation needs.
Identify process gaps and assist in developing scalable operational solutions.
Support understanding and improvement of Client's music rights management products, including copyright and licensing operations.
Maintain strict compliance with Client's data protection and confidentiality policies.
Must-Have Qualifications
2+ years of experience in operations, account management, consulting, or data analytics.
Background in the
music or media industry , such as experience with record labels, DSPs, or user-generated content platforms.
Strong Excel proficiency (data tracking, validation, and reporting).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience with
music copyright, licensing, or digital rights management
systems.
Knowledge of SQL or querying tools for data analysis.
Previous experience at companies like TuneCore, ONErpm, or other music distribution or publishing agencies.
Proven ability to troubleshoot data-related issues and propose scalable solutions.
Preferred Experience
3+ years in
music operations, digital rights management, or label coordination .
Demonstrated success managing music metadata, fraud detection, or content ID systems.
Proven track record supporting cross-functional teams and maintaining partner satisfaction.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Music Industry, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred).
Certifications or coursework in music business, data analytics, or digital operations are a plus.
