The Regional Marketing Coordinator role offers an exciting opportunity to fuse your passion for skiing or snowboarding with your marketing expertise. In this position, you’ll engage with the ski community, capture on-mountain photo and video content, write compelling copy for digital campaigns, manage website updates, and create engaging email newsletters — all while driving stoke and growing brand awareness across Sandia Peak, Nordic Valley Ski Resort, Willamette Pass, & Spider Mountain Bike Park.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Be an advocate for our company purpose, Give People the Freedom to Ski, and be an ambassador for our company cultures and values
Collaborate on marketing campaigns and communications across a diverse range of channels including newsletters, websites, social media, and paid advertising
Develop content-gathering initiatives, capture & edit engaging photos and videos, and coordinate with freelance content creators
Ensure the accuracy and freshness of information across the website, social media, and other online platforms
Foster positive relations with community partners while promoting brand values.
Support event management and promotions
Represent all resorts as a brand ambassador and customer service representative in all digital and in-person communications
Regularly work with platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, WordPress, Mailchimp, and Google Analytics/Data Studio
Work on weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, with the potential for additional responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
A passion for skiing or snowboarding is vital, with intermediate terrain skills being a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to be self-directed and also a collaborative team player
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail, organization, and self-motivation
Strong writing, analytical, editing and research skills
Ability to identify trends and adapt accordinglyTime management and organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
Experience with SEO, Canva, TikTok, Snapchat and Adobe Creative Cloud applications is advantageous
Ability to sit for prolonged periods; lift objects up to 25 pounds
Experience/Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience in business or marketing is preferred
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business or a related field is preferred
Must be available to work at least 5 days per week, including weekends and holidays
Resort marketing experience is not required but preferred
Bonus Experience
Part 107 Drone License/Drone Experience
Previously worked in the ski industry
Strong skiing or snowboarding skills
Proficient in various LLMs
