Job Description: Event Designer
Reporting to: Design Director
Responsibilities
Design and produce 2D assets such as invitations, menus, directional signage etc.
Design and produce 3D assets such as to-scale renderings and elevation drawings
Manage the photographic collateral from Raiola/Co events, ensure that edited photos are applied to various platforms including website, social media, marketing look books etc.
Collaborate on the development of the look, design, and feel for creative output including sales pitches and marketing & social media-based projects
Work directly with design director to realize the creative vision of a project
Integral part of request for proposal response and pitch process
Key involvement on design from concept to completion
Understand a creative concept and execute consistently with client/project objectives and our brand
Source and produce décor and creative elements in line with 2D renders & reference boards
Work closely to design and create overall guest experience using lighting, music, floral, furniture elements, graphics, etc.
Create mood boards, sketches, 2D renders, spatial layouts + flow
Anticipate change and solve challenges that meet budget and project goals
Work with event producer and design director on technical solutions for budget efficiency

Skills
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Intermediate or above 3D rendering skills (SketchUp, Vectorworks, Cinema4D, Unreal, Blender, etc.)
Intermediate sketching and illustrative skills, allowing creative and technical concepts to be quickly and easily understood internally prior to more elaborate design work
Extra credit for video editing and motion graphics skills (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut)
Fluent in Google Suite
Current in technical advances, including but not limited to new AI software for copywriting, creative prompting, rendering, etc.
Professional Experience
5-8 years related experience
Knowledge of New York City and national venues, vendors, and other industry resources
