Stelvio Inc.
IC Design Lead – Analog & Mixed‑Signal
About the Role We’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Analog Mixed‑Signal IC Design Lead to take charge of complex, cross‑functional projects from concept to production. In this senior technical leadership role, you’ll bridge the gap between semiconductor design and system engineering, driving the development of next‑generation integrated circuits for applications in sensing, imaging, and signal processing.
You’ll lead a talented engineering team, collaborate across multiple disciplines, and play a pivotal role in advancing cutting‑edge IC technology from architecture to product release.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership:
Oversee the full lifecycle of IC design projects — from planning and specification to tape‑out and product release. Lead and mentor a local team of engineers while coordinating with international development teams.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with design, layout, embedded software, packaging, test, and optical engineering groups to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery.
Technical Expertise:
Guide architectural decisions, evaluate design trade‑offs, and drive innovation in analog/mixed‑signal IC design to enhance performance and optimize power consumption.
Innovation & Risk Management:
Identify risks early, propose mitigation strategies, and foster a culture of technical excellence and creative problem‑solving.
Stakeholder Communication:
Translate complex technical updates into actionable insights for leadership and customers.
Quality & Compliance:
Ensure all designs meet verification, validation, and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
7+ years of hands‑on experience in IC design and development, including leadership roles such as IC Design Lead or Project Manager.
Strong understanding of CMOS design (analog, digital, memory, and embedded MCU integration).
Proven experience managing tape‑outs and product development cycles involving embedded systems.
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
Preferred Experience
Background in consumer product development.
Familiarity with Cadence IC design tools.
Experience with embedded systems testing (black box, unit, functional).
Programming skills in Matlab, Python, or LabVIEW to support testing platforms.
Experience with low‑power product development and optoelectronic or photonic systems.
Additional Information
