Overview Tatari is on a mission to revolutionize TV advertising. We work with some of your favorite disruptor brands—like Calm, Vuori, Rocket Money, and hundreds more—to grow their business using linear and streaming TV ads. Our platform combines sophisticated media buying with proprietary analytics to turn TV advertising into an automated, digital-like experience, enabling businesses of any size to advertise on TV.
Responsibilities Plan and purchase all types of TV and streaming inventory: national, broadcast, cable, local, CTV, direct‑IO and targeted streaming, video, sports, premium opportunities, etc.
Use data to optimize campaigns and monitor networks/publishers for inventory clearance, viewership, competitive, audience changes, etc.
Assess campaign performance in real‑time while providing feedback on optimizations to clients to ensure media plans deliver on KPIs.
Evaluate media purchase through a data‑and‑analytics lens and negotiate pricing and plans where applicable.
Work closely with client strategy team to help clients scale and grow their business using real‑time performance data, premium opportunities and strategic recommendations.
Seek out unique opportunities e.g. discounted inventory, client‑specific packages, upfront inventory, etc.
Participate, actively engage, and answer complex media questions in client meetings.
Work alongside Product, Engineering, and Data Science to assist in developing and upgrading our convergent TV ad platform.
Qualifications 3‑5 years of experience with TV/Video media buying and planning; bonus for platform/programmatic trading.
Deep understanding of TV and streaming inventory, pricing, availability, and media calendar.
Proven success in scaling TV campaigns and optimizing media buys based on performance outcomes and KPIs.
Understanding of marketing strategy, sales funnel KPIs, and how media, programmatic, data, measurement, and technology fit into the full picture.
Advanced presentation and communication skills; strong verbal and written communication.
Comfortable learning new software and systems (e.g., Tatari’s proprietary buying platform).
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, including advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets.
High degree of autonomy and accountability; detail‑oriented and able to manage priorities and make informed decisions.
Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage simultaneous workflows and multi‑tasking.
