Jr. Photographer On-site – Hicksville, NY | Full Time About The Role Nassau Candy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Photographer to join our growing creative team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll capture and retouch high‑quality product imagery for use across our websites, catalogs, and marketing materials. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a strong eye for lighting, color, and composition — someone who takes pride in creating clean, accurate, and engaging product photography that helps bring our brands to life. You’ll work closely with the photography, marketing, and design teams to produce consistent, high‑quality imagery that represents Nassau Candy’s diverse product lines, from gourmet confections to promotional merchandise. What You’ll Do Product Photography Capture high‑quality, well‑lit product images in a controlled studio environment Ensure consistency in color, angle, and scale across all photography Manage daily product shoots and meet tight production deadlines Set up and adjust lighting to accurately represent product color and texture Photo Retouching & Post‑Production Execute detailed retouching and image cleanup in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Maintain accuracy in color correction and image quality for both web and print Organize, back up, and archive large batches of digital assets following workflow standards Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and multiple projects Collaboration & Creative Support Work with marketing and design teams to ensure imagery aligns with brand standards Support seasonal launches, catalog updates, and digital content needs Participate in creative meetings to help develop visual strategies for new products What We’re Looking For Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or working toward one) in Photography, Digital Photography, or related field Experience with SLR digital product photography and studio lighting Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite — especially Photoshop and Lightroom Strong eye for detail, composition, and post‑production quality Excellent organizational and communication skills Professional “can‑do” attitude and ability to multitask in a deadline‑driven environment Experience photographing food products a plus Portfolio required — please include a link to your work for consideration Perks & Benefits Competitive pay Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance AFLAC supplemental benefits Paid Vacation, PTO, and Holidays Employee Discounts Family‑oriented company culture & business casual environment Pet Insurance Why Join Nassau Candy?
