Role Overview

The Senior Vice President of SEO Strategy will be at the forefront of driving SEO initiatives for our premier multifamily rental platform. We seek a dynamic and hands-on leader who excels at analyzing extensive datasets, identifying trends, and transforming insights into impactful strategies. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of SEO practices, financial planning, and effective budget management, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration throughout the product development process.

The ideal candidate will lead a skilled team of SEO and content specialists, monitor SEO performance metrics, and manage relationships with external vendors as needed. A successful candidate will be someone who can prioritize tasks effectively, implement change, and foster results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience in SEO management, particularly for large public-facing websites.
• Demonstrated expertise with key SEO tools and techniques, as well as a strong grasp of web vitals, schema.org, and site architecture.
• Proven ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
• Exceptional communication skills to facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
• A drive for innovation and the ability to implement change.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with international websites and leading cross-functional teams.
• A background in the real estate industry.
• Skills in product management, user research tools, and conducting experiments to optimize product offerings.

Expectations

The Senior Vice President will work closely with the Vice President of Apartments Product and is expected to travel less than 10% of the time.
