About The Position

Seven Healthcare is pleased to present an exciting travel opportunity for an experienced Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in Anchorage, Alaska . This contract offers a competitive weekly blended rate of $2,200 , based on three 12-hour day shifts per week , providing a great opportunity to grow your career while experiencing one of the most scenic locations in the U.S.

- Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and supplies for procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
- Ensure proper handling and sterilization of instruments and equipment
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to promote efficiency and safety
- Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and needles before and after procedures
- Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols in accordance with hospital policy
- Active CST certification through NBSTSA.
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CST experience.
- Alaska state license or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
