About the Role
The organization is looking for a Vice President of Marketing and Communications Strategy to play a crucial role in advancing its meaningful mission. As a strategic and mission-driven leader, you will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy. Your objectives will include enhancing visibility, inspiring donors and partners, and driving revenue growth through compelling storytelling and innovative campaigns.
Your key responsibilities will involve leading a dedicated team of marketing and communications professionals, overseeing brand management, media relations, digital platforms, and content creation. This role is essential in retaining and growing our donor base while deepening community engagement.
We encourage applicants who can translate big-picture visions into actionable communication strategies, ideally within a nonprofit context. You should embody an empowering leadership style and possess a donor-centered mindset, along with a strong understanding of donor motivations and retention strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving revenue growth and donor engagement. Creativity, innovation, and data-driven decision-making are essential, and collaboration will be key in building internal partnerships. We require a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role, along with a Bachelor's degree in a related field. A commitment to racial equity is crucial, and a Master's degree is preferred.
