Job Position: Part-Time Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)

Location: Greenwood, IN 46143

Pay Rate: Starting at $35.00/hr

Description:

Birch Agency is currently seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide part-time educational support for students ranging from PreK through 12th grade. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students with visual impairments access curriculum and achieve academic success.

Position Details:

• Part-time, 1015 hours per week

• Serving a caseload of PreK12 students

• In-person services near Greenwood, Indiana

• Flexible scheduling available within the school day

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student needs

• Adapt curriculum materials and ensure accessibility

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana teaching license with endorsement in Visual Impairments

• Experience working with students PreK12 preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Commitment to supporting student growth and independence
